순서
Our group try to find the ideal air conditioner location inside the vehicle through this Design Lab on Thermo-Fluidics project. The various factors of change according to composition and location are analyzed and identified for the air conditioner of the vehicle which is essential for reducing the high temperature inside the vehicle during summer. Comparing the air conditioner structure to the actual four-person vehicle model and various other cases, we identified whether the air conditioner structure is properly configured for the thermal comfort that people feel and analyzed which configuration is the most ideal. Instead of setting standards according to the average temperature to judge thermal comfort, we judge them based on PMV and PPD indicator. PMV indicators are the most commonly used method for thermal comfort assessment and are the method of predicting the average of many peoples expression of opinion on the thermal sensory scale. The method was calculated according to ISO 7730 using metabolic rate, thermal resistance, air temperature, mean radiant temperature. By using Inventer, the vehicle model and the air conditioner configuration were modeled. In each case, the boundary condition and material properties were set and the analysis was carried out by using ANSYS. In the course of this project, We learned the various theories of calculating thermal comfort and the structure and efficiency of vehicle air conditioner. We also devise another future works to supplement the analysis results.
